IF recently purchased and installed three highway-grade metal signs at three neglected Lawrence County cemeteries: Davenport Crossing Cemetery, Miller Cemetery, and Colquette Cemetery. Reflective stakes were also installed around a pile of gravestones at Colquette to hopefully help protect them from errant farm equipment, since the site is now located in the middle of a field. A fourth sign, for Sanders Cemetery in the Richwoods area (on the Lawrence/Randolph border), will be installed this fall. UPDATE 09/04: The Sign for Sanders Cemetery is now installed as well!
