A huge thank you to the Walnut Ridge Walmart for their generous donation of nearly $1000 worth of shrubs to Initiative Fractal, now planted along the wooded northeastern edge of Mt. Zion Cemetery. These 61 plants include spring-flowering quince and forsythia as well as Japanese holly, Euonymus ground cover, and several others. Along with some tuber roses that were planted last spring, this border area now looks like a woodland garden rather than a paper mulberry thicket! Installing professional black metal edging for the area has also been started, and should be finished by this fall.
